Hotel Eye guest reporting on Houstel.pk
Review guest-reporting records and submission results when Hotel Eye is enabled for your hostel.
Step by step
Where to go: More → Hotel Eye
Who can use it: The hostel owner, or staff with access to this feature. Some actions need additional permission.
-
Check eligibility and setup
Open Hotel Eye. If it is not switched on, contact support. Use your authorised account and the setup fields shown; keep its credentials and guest identity information private.

Review the guest before submitting
Filter the guests to report. Open the check-in preview and correct missing or inaccurate details before submitting. Read the returned result instead of assuming a click succeeded.
-
Reconcile outside submissions
If you completed a check-in directly in the official service, verify it there before marking it manually checked in here. Use logs and the monthly report to reconcile the two records.
Before you finish, and when something goes wrong
- This guide describes the software workflow, not the legal reporting requirements for your location. Confirm the applicable requirements with the responsible authority.
- An outage, expired login or rejected identity detail may stop submission. Check the result before retrying to avoid duplicate reports.
- A manual marker records what you say was done elsewhere; it does not submit a guest automatically.
- Never publish guest identity documents, credentials, reports or submission logs. Provide redacted troubleshooting details to support.
If a save times out, check the record before repeating it. If access is denied, ask the owner to review your hostel assignment and permissions. Never share your login to work around an access restriction.
